How are you raising money for your campaign?

Self-Funded Campaigns:  I primarily “self-fund” the costs of my campaigns.  I have not solicited funding from the community and do not intend to do so.  However, I have, from time to time, received unsolicited monetary support from a number of Mount Prospect citizens which I have been grateful to receive.

Outside Campaign Donations:   As a note, our local Village Board elections are non-partisan.  As such, as far as I am concerned, no candidate should accept money from any political party as it taints the non-partisan electoral process established long ago in our Village.

As a voter, I would ask the question . . . . how are each of the candidates funding their run for Village Trustee and are they beholding to anyone or any political organization ?
